Active employees who become Medicare eligible: Please sign up for Part A only.

If you are Medicare eligible and are retiring soon, please make sure you are signed up for both Parts A and B.  (Sign up  before your retirement date! This is very  important!)

Please note, there are three Medicare options through Brighton CSD.

1. Medicare Blue Choice, this is an HMO and is restricted to Monroe and the surrounding counties. Your permanent address must remain within this area to be eligible for Medicare Blue Choice benefits.

2. Medicare Blue PPO  this is a PPO and is available in over 1500 counties nationwide.

3. Classic Blue Secure with Lifetime Rx, this is a NON-HMO and is partnered with RMSCO Prescriptions. This is a national plan and is not restricted to local counties.
