Please know that we do everything we can to make fair and balanced class lists and do our best to accommodate requests. We ask that you only contact the Main Office if there is a major issue with your child's class placement.

Thanks so much!

Transportation News!!

Bus Letters

Transportation Department plans to send out bussing information to families after 8/22 via Parent Square and through the US Mail. Please be on the lookout for this information and communicate directly with Transportation Department (242-5200 X5806) if there are any problems with the information that they send you.

Change in Pass Procedures - PLEASE READ!!!

DAILY BUS PASSES AT K-5 WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED.

BCSD will no longer accept requests to ride a bus other than the one assigned. Requests to change afternoon ridership will only be approved for EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ONLY. Requests must be submitted, in writing, to the Transportation Department at bcsd_transportation@bcsd.orgBEFORE NOON, and must be acknowledged and approved by the Director of Student Operations, or his designee

Reason for the change: Ensuring the safe transportation of our students requires that each and every schedule change request to be approved, and then communicated to students, teachers, clerical staff, transportation staff, and bus drivers.

Our prior bus pass approval system required a complicated system of checks and balances, that were time sensitive, and difficult to maintain. Any potential breakdown in the system could result in a child being placed on the wrong bus and transported to the wrong location.
