Would You Like to Host a French Student and Travel to France Next Year?

47 students from Lycée Sévigné in Rennes, France will be in Brighton from Oct. 13-22, 2024. We have already found amazing families for 40 students, but we still have 7 boys left to place.

BHS students must be enrolled in a French, physics or chemistry class for the 2024-25 school year. To learn more about the hosting requirements and access the Host Family Application, please click here.  If you host, you will also have the option to travel to France from February 18 – March 1, 2025, The opportunity to travel is only open until mid-September.

Host Families Needed for World Language Interns

Hey Brighton! As we gear up for another exciting school year, we still have a need for one more host family for our German intern. Did you know that you can volunteer to host for a partial or full year? Our interns have been part of the Brighton community for over 30 years, and we are looking for enthusiastic host families that want to share their culture, traditions, and make an international connection. 

Jonas come from Saarbrücken, Germany. He is pursuing a degree in physical education and is eager to experience American schools. Jonas enjoys traveling, participating in sports, and is an international judo competitor! He is excited to come to the States!

About Brighton

This vision of a Brighton graduate, developed by various stakeholder groups, identifies attributes, knowledge, and skills necessary for a successful transition to life after high school.

Each year, the District convenes a large group of parents, community members, staff members, parents, the leadership team, and the Board of Education to develop our strategic plan for the year. Otherwise known as the Blueprint, this planning process is the backbone of every committee and District initiative for the year.

All members of the school community have the responsibility to maintain a safe and orderly school environment conducive to learning and respectful to all people and property. The Brighton Code of Conduct partners with the District and Building Safety Health and Wellness Committees to foster student academic and behavioral success.
