Brighton Central School District is hosting Brighton High School Athletic Fields Construction Information Sessions on Tuesday, June 9 at noon and 4:30 p.m. in the Administration Building Board Room, 2035 Monroe Ave.
 
The Board of Education and District staff are working closely with state agencies, architects, contractors, environmental consultants, and construction managers to understand possible options for the athletic fields project. Ensuring community health and safety is our first priority as we look at options and develop an understanding of the costs and parameters to safely mitigate the previously unknown soil conditions while providing this important space for student programs. The Board would like your feedback before weighing the options, costs, and data points and making a decision regarding next steps.
 
Each session will include a brief overview of the options, followed by an opportunity for community members to visit stations and ask questions of the professional staff members on hand and then provide their feedback electronically.
