We Need Your Input on Athletic Field Options

Dear Community Members,

The District has worked closely with state agencies, architects, contractors, environmental consultants, and construction managers to understand options for the athletic field project. Ensuring community health and safety has been the first priority as we looked at options and developed an understanding of the costs and parameters to safely mitigate the previously unknown soil conditions while providing an important space for student programs. The Board would like your feedback before weighing all options, costs, and data points prior to making a decision regarding next steps.

Three athletic field project options have been developed and presented for consideration by the Board of Education. The Board would like to know how you feel about Option 1 (Original Design), Option 2 (Scaled Back Turf Field), and Option 3 (Cover and Grass Field). Please provide thoughts, comments, and feedback for their consideration along with all other data and information.
