BHS Red Cross Club Holds CPR/AED Training

Posted Date: 04/29/26 (03:58 PM)

The Brighton High School Red Cross Club hosted the “Brighton Believes: CPR Saves Lives” training event on Brighton Believes Day in March.

BHS student Noah Biedenkopf came up with the idea for the event and coordinated with the Brighton Fire Department and Brighton Volunteer Ambulance. The junior planned, coordinated, and executed the entire event. A grant from the Brighton Education Fund covered all costs associated with the training.

The event provided free training in adult and child CPR, AED, and choking response. A total of 41 students and 6 adults received training through the event. Congratulations to all involved!
